How to Find Free Wi-Fi Hotspots With Facebook
According to last year plan purposed by Facebook, they will provide a feature that will help the user you find all the nearby free Wi-Fi hotspots what they want to use. In present days the feature has been added to Facebook and they are rolling out the feature globally. This feature will help you to have access to the internet while you are traveling different places. While you are traveling and you have spotty internet access on your device or if you’re just seeking for a coffee shop to work from for a few hours you can get great benefits from this feature. Here are the ways how you can use Facebook to find free Wi-Fi.
You better download the latest version of Facebook because this feature is not available is the old version. You should update your Facebook app on your phone either on Android or iOS. The version is version 131.0.0.29.69 for Android or version 99.0 on iOS which you need to have to activate the feature of free Wi-Fi hotspots with Facebook. Now you have to log in to your account and then tap the hamburger button (three horizontal lines) which is located in the upper right in the Android app. And if you are the ISO user then you can find this option at the bottom on the right side of your screen. Scroll down in and tap Find Wi-Fi.

If your phone didn’t find any Wi-Fi immediately then you may have to do some digging. As in ISO, it is listed under Explore and readily available on your phone. But on Android, you can find the option under the Apps section. You have to choose the option See All to find it if necessary. Although it is available on ISO we were unable to find the feature in Facebook on the iPad.
If you are using the feature of find Wi-Fi for the first time then you have to activate it by tapping Enable Find Wi-Fi. After doing so you will be taken to a map video of your current location as you can see on your phone. The place with Wi-Fi hotspots around you is denoted with red circles with a white center. To locate the hotspot you have to tap on any of the circles. You can also select the option of tap Visit Page to look more about the location there by tapping on the directions.

Pin to view hotspots in other areas or pinch to zoom in or out on your phone. After you move the map outside your current area, you will have to tap the Search this area button at the top to load for new wifi hotspot. If you’d rather view a list of the hotspot locations, tap List in the top right corner of the app and enjoy.
